We will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your neck CT angiogram. Metal objects, including jewelry, eyeglasses, dentures and hairpins, may affect the neck CT angiogram images and should be left at home or removed for the neck CT angiogram. You may be asked to remove hearing aids and removable dental work. Women will be asked to remove bras containing metal underwire. Other piercings may also be asked to be removed if possible for a sinus exam.
You should inform your radiologist or technologist if you use a pacemaker device. Women should let us know if there is a possibility they could be pregnant.
Keep taking your regular medicines prescribed by your doctor. Please inform your radiologist or technologist of any known allergies to medications. Also, let us know if you have asthma, multiple myeloma or any disorder of the heart, kidneys, or thyroid gland, or if you have diabetes before receiving a neck CT angiogram.
