Interventional Radiology Procedures

Our interventional radiologists are specially trained doctors who use X-rays and other imaging techniques to "see" inside the body while they guide narrow tubes (catheters) and other very small instruments through the pathways of the body to the site of a problem, treating a variety of medical disorders without surgery. These procedures are generally less costly and less traumatic to the patient; involve smaller incisions and less pain than more invasive treatment options.

Some of the interventional procedures we perform at our imaging center include:

  • Vertebroplasty
  • Nerve root blocks
  • Epidural injections
  • Facet blocks
  • Joint injections
  • Discography
  • Venography
  • Angiography
